Bob Smiley has been doing standup comedy for over 20 years. He’s done more than 2,500 shows, meaning his hotel shampoo collection is massive. He’s also the creator of the hit series "The Adventures of Average Boy," which appears in Clubhouse magazine, on Average Boy's own podcast, and in two comedy devotional books for tweens published through Focus on the Family. When he dies, he hopes to be cremated and put in a jar that says, "He Urned It!'
He’s also pretty good at mowing.
Countering Culture - Glenn Stanton
In the midst of a cultural crisis, how do we as families engage our communities in meaningful ways that draw others to Christ and share hope in these turbulent times?
Glenn T. Stanton is the director of Global Family Formation Studies at Focus on the Family. He is the author of nine books and is senior contributor to the Federalist blog. His latest book is “The Myth of the Dying Church: How Christianity is Actually Thriving in America and the World.” He is the co-writer of “Irreplaceable,” a film seen in theatres nationwide. He is also the co-author and creator of “The Family Project,” a 12-session small group DVD curriculum produced by Focus on the Family.

Adam Holz is the director of Plugged In, Focus on the Family’s media and technology discernment and review website. Adam has worked at Plugged In for 17 years and is the author of more than 4,000 entertainment reviews, articles, and blogs in that time. Adam also spent 10 years working for the Navigators, including seven as associate editor for Discipleship Journal. Adam and his wife, Jennifer, have three children ages 10 to 13.

Danny Huerta, Focus on the Family's Vice President of Parenting and Youth, is a bilingual, licensed clinical social worker who has counseled families for more than two decades. His passion is equipping parents to disciple and mentor the next generation so they can thrive in Christ. Danny and his wife are the parents of two teenagers.

My boys have a seemingly endless desire for affirmation from me. They constantly are seeking my opinion on their latest drawing or stick carving, or my thoughts on how to improve their latest back yard nerf gun war fort. Boys need an environment where they can learn, grow, and play together as boys. A place where they are surrounded by strong Christian men who will love, teach, and encourage them. A place to share God’s word and provide the strong Christian male role model that young boys today so desperately need.
