Stu Nolan is the founder and managing attorney of LegalWorks Apostolate, PLLC. LegalWorks is committed to serving faithful individuals, families, businesses, Church institutions, and lay apostolates, by providing “counsel for a Culture of Life”. In this capacity, he has represented hundreds of Christian organizations.

Stu is chairman of the Board of Directors of Human Life Internationa, the world's largest international pro-life education and advocacy organization. He is founder and executive director of the WitnessWorks Foundation for a Culture of Life. WitnessWorks is engaged in the New Evangelism, including a defense of the traditional family and the promotion of authentic manhood and authentic womanhood, in part by encourging the use of youth adventuring as a faith formation experience.

Stu is the founding chariman of the National Catholic Committee of Trail Life USA, and he has served for three years on the Board of Directors of Trail Life USA. He is a former scoutmaster and founding Troopmaster of Troop VA-1212.

Stu earned his law degree from the Catholic University of America and is a member of the Virginia Bar, as well as the National Lawyers Association, the Federalist Society, and the Thomas More Society. He and his wife, Cynthia, have been married for 24 years and have been blessed with five children, ages 8 to 19 years. They are active in parish life at St. John the Baptist parish in the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia. Their children have actively participated in TLUSA and AHG troops chartered by Chelsea Academy in Front Royal, Virginia.
