Description

This flag is the official flag for ceremonies and meetings. Heavy-duty 3′ x 5′ nylon flag features white lettering over red (top) and blue (bottom), and the TLUSA logo in the white center. Digitally printed single reverse. Includes heading with grommets or pole sleeve for display. Made in the USA.

Must be ordered with Troop number, Charter organization, and city name.

Great Service but not so great Product

I wish I could split my review into service product. The day after I placed the order, I was informed that our Charter Organization was going to drop our troop because of space issues. I was able to contact TL and they were able to remove the Charter Organization name off the flag before it printed. Many reviewers have complained that they don't get updates as to the progress of making and shipping the flag; that is true but that didn't bother me. I just assumed it's because TL is operating on minimal staff and doesn't have anyone to take care of that sort of thing. You just sort of have to trust that it will come.

Now for the flag itself....for the amount of money it costs I was expecting more. It's a screen printed nylon that feels quite cheap and the colors are very faded. Everyone was really pumped and excited when we opened the package and then everything got quiet when it was pulled out and it looked like it had been run through the laundry a few hundred times. By itself, it's probably ok, but when put next to our American flag it looks pretty bad. Our US flag is also US made like the TL flag, but it's embroidered cotton and cost about a 3rd of the price.
