The ziplock came unglued from the bag. It had been used less than 5 times. I would skip this and advise not ordering it if the quality remains like this.

When I got this in my order as an add-on to Handbook I was a little surprised. I thought this is great - a way to keep my boy's book protected in a backpack or on a campout. Unfortunately, the first time he tried to get the book out AT HOME to look through the zipper system completely ripped - rendering the entire thing useless. Great idea - apparently there should have been more field testing done by 12 yr olds!

I think it seems durable, we have not put it through the test yet

Our boys use the book primarily at troop meetings. We generally dissuade them from taking them on camp outs simply b/c of the abuse risk. We don't see the value of the plastic cover or the name card and are disappointed with the price increase in the books. If the justification for the price increase is based upon the cover and name card, we would suggest you eliminate them and return the price to the previous amount or list these items as options for those that want them.
